Sixty-eight East Friesan x Lacaune lambs were delivered to the University of Maryland's Western Maryland Research & Education Center on Wednesday, April 24. The lambs ranged in weight from 28 to 71 lbs and averaged 44.3 ± 10.4 lbs. The median weight was 42 lbs.
This year's lambs are considerably younger and lighter than last year's lambs.
